Quick Intro to Kris
Kris Clelland is the Founder & Managing Director of Talent Intelligence, a business founded and grown in Australia, powered by Clellands & Co Ltd. Kris is not a huge fan of titles, depicting skillset or seniority, and as such also responds to Talent Janitor, or Chief Espresso Officer
If you’ve attended a Talent, HR or Workforce Executive Leadership event in the past 4+ years anywhere from Sydney to Singapore, Auckland to Amsterdam, or Melbourne to Mumbai, there’s a good chance Kris was the one holding the mic, moderating the panel, or getting everyone to laugh (while rethinking their Workforce & People Strategies).

With over 60 hosted and keynote events under his belt across Australia, NZ, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Malaysia, India, Europe, the UK, and North America, Kris is not just connected to the global Talent, HR, Workforce and Staffing Solutions communities – he’s one of its most energetic advocates.
After building and leading global Talent Acquisition and People Strategy teams in over 65 countries across 5 continents, Kris launched Clellands & Co, and now Talent Intelligence to bring together everything he’s known for: sharp insights, bold conversations, and practical solutions – all delivered with 150% authenticity.
He’s led TA at companies like Amazon Web Services, Wipro, Zip Co, Planit Testing, and advised global giants, mid-market and scale-up companies alike along the way. A former golf prodigy turned workforce strategy nerd, Kris blends global leadership experience with a straight-talking, no-fuss style that’s become his trademark.
Kris hails from the cold and wet shores of Western Scotland, but is based permanently in Sydney which he has proudly called home for 12 years. He’s a coffee snob, a frequent flyer (to say the least), a fierce diversity advocate, and someone who believes that if you do what you love, not one single day feels like hard work.
